How we handle your information.

Grand Bay Ventures Limited, trading as Grand Bay Media (“we”), is a film production company registered in Kenya with its studio at Flame Tree, Runda, Nairobi. This notice explains what personal data we collect through grandbaymedia.com and how we use it, in line with Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019.

What we collect

When you request a capability statement, we collect the details you enter: your name, organisation, work email, project type, location and target delivery date. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect standard usage data, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type and how you arrived at the site.

Why we use it

We use your form details only to respond to your request, prepare a capability statement and arrange a scoping call. We rely on your consent and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We use analytics data, only with your consent, to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

Your data is held by the service providers that run this site and our email: Webflow (website hosting and forms), Google Workspace (email) and, if you consent, Google Analytics. These providers may store data outside Kenya under their own safeguards. We share nothing else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, or for longer if they become part of a signed engagement and we must keep business records. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Your rights

You may ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it or object to how we use it, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Email info@grandbaymedia.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (odpc.go.ke).
